Description
This is a 10-Week Bible Study that is meant to accompany the “God of gods” book by Joe Amaral.
In this study we examine God’s dominion over ancient and modern idols, showing how Moses, Elijah and Paul confronted idolatry and how Jesus directly challenged the gods of Greek mythology. Rooted in historical, biblical, and cultural contexts, it affirms that God alone reigns supreme.
Key themes include:
- Biblical Confrontations — How God repeatedly demonstrated His supremacy, from the plagues of Egypt to Elijah vs. Baal.
- Jesus vs. Greek Gods — Jesus’ miracles directly countered pagan deities, proving His unmatched authority.
- Modern Idolatry — Identifying and removing today’s false “gods” like wealth, success, and status
- Bold Faith — Encouraging believers to proclaim Christ in a world of competing ideologies.
With discussion questions, practical applications, and guided prayers, the God of gods Study Guide challenges readers to reject false allegiances, embrace Jesus’ transformative power, and boldly declare Him as God of gods.
